Shut Down

‘Shut Down’ is a picture book about a boy who refuses to take off his robot costume. James doesn’t need anyone or anything, he is a fully functional machine! But, just like any robot, he shuts down, especially when his feelings start to get too big.

Fundamentally, it is a book about a father and son navigating life alongside grief. Made using pencil drawings that have been coloured digitally.
